How to configure the wireless network on an Intermec 2435 handheld. Description:How to configure the wireless network on an intermec 2435 handheld. Without configuring the wireless network on this device, it is a very expensive paperweight only, this is why I'm going to show you how to do it. First, read this on how to get into the menu on an intermec 2435. Got it? Good. In case you were too lazy to click the link, here is how to do it:
Terminal IP: This is the IP address that the handheld will have. Put the IP address that you want your Intermec 2435 to have here. Network Name: this should be obvious, it's your wireless network's SSID (like linksys, netgear, blueberry_strudel etc). WEP Key: this is a bit non-intuitive. If you're giving it your key and not your passphrase, you need to prepend "0x" to the front of it. For example, if your passphrase is "bananas" and your network key is "5482b15a62", put the following into the field for your WEP key:
otherwise it will not work.Press escape, save your changes (you'll need to do this twice), the handheld will reboot, and you'll be good to go!
